To become a member of the Latvian Society of the Blind, it is necessary to come to one of the territorial organizatins located in:

• Balvi
• Cēsis
• Daugavpils
• Jelgava
• Jēkabpils
• Jūrmala
• Rēzekne
• Rīga
• Ventspils
• Liepājas society of the blind

You can become a member from the age of 16. Persons with visual impairments must present a document certifying the disability. A person undr the age of 16 may also join the association by submitting the written consent of a parent or guardian.
The application to the assocation shall be considered at the next meeting of the nearest territoria organization. In case of admission of a member, the board of TO charges a joining fee of 2,80 eur and a membership fee of 2,80 eur (per calender year), total 5,60 eur and have joined the association.

You can also join remotely by calling one of the organizations, naming your e-mail to witch the application and questionnaire form is sent. The forms are filled in, signed and sent back to the organization, the money is transferred to the account of the Riga city territorial organization.
